What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is nothing secret or magical. It is a state of mind that we all experience without realising it. For example day dreaming, just as we go to sleep, or are waking up, and when we have completed a task without even thinking about it. Commonly, drivers get from A to B safely with little recall of their journey.
Hypnotherapy is used to access the subconscious part of our minds. It does this by creating a very relaxed state and yet one in which concentration is enhanced and access to our habits, automatic responses and phobia storage area is possible.
Common uses for hypnosis
Common uses for hypnotherapy are to:

- increase confidence.
